Thanks everyone for entering my contest! It was fun reading what everyone came up with. The winner is....Jenny who said: Your muffins look really terrific. What about Warm Churro Style Muffins for the title?
Here are some cookies that my family and I adore! They are so yummy and quite easy!
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter
1 cup oil
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tarter
1 cup oatmeal
2 cup chocolate chips
1 cup rice crispies
1 cup chopped nuts(I never add these)
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix 1st 9 ingredients with a mixer. Stir in the oatmeal, chips, crispies, and nuts. Make balls and put on ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 10 minutes. These sugar cookies are delicious!
1 cup butter
1 1/2 cup sguar
3 well beaten egg yolks
2 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. cream of tarter
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 375. Cream butter and sugar. Add yolks, mix well. Add flour, soda, and tarter. Add vanilla. Roll into balls. Dip in sugar. Bake for 10 minutes.
**To keep these soft and chewy, make sure you put them in foil or cover them - they harden quickly!**

YUM! Cookies have gottt to be one of the best creations ever :D. I;ve never thought to aadd rice krispies to a cookie which is crazy because im in love with rice krispy treats :)

ReplyDeleteThe cookies look so good, which actually surprises me since they are made with oil, not butter. I tried some oil ones once and they were weird little bomb rocks. And cream of tartar--that's different. I'll have to give this one a try sometime!You sure have a lucky family with all your goodies!
