    I've never eaten any cookie dough. My favorite cookies are oatmeal raisin and I don't think it would be good raw.

    First of all, I can't believe that someone posted that they had NEVER tried raw cookie dough!! I feel so sad for them. To miss the sugary goodness...the guilty pleasure of sneaking a chunk of raw Pillsbury sugar cookie tough straight from the tube. Yummy!!

    No- I am allergic to raw egg...so for my whole life I have had to refrain from nibbling on the yummy before products!
    No cake batter- No cupcake batter- No cookie dough :(

    Yes, indeed, I eat raw cookie dough, although I am always right there to warn others of the dangers of sticking their fingers in the bowl. (I might snap them off.) I make a triple batch of molasses cookies, bake one, and put two in the freezer. One of the two from the freezer never sees the inside of an oven.

    Holy cow! Of course I eat cookie dough! My favorites are snicker doodle dough & chocolate chip dough. YUM! I've been known to cut off chunks of frozen cookie dough to eat as well. I'm a bbaaaaad person.

    By the time I'm 1/2 way through baking a batch I'm nearly ill from eating so much dough & a few warm cookies just out of the oven. Usually end up rolling whatever dough is left into logs & freezing.. to be baked later. No. Really. To bake later. Honest.

    Of course I eat raw cookie dough - in fact, when I was younger, I had preferences based on pre-made brands. English Bay tasted better raw than baked, Pillsbury was better baked than English Bay was, but the dough was still pretty good... anyway, chocolate chip!

    I usually taste the cookie dough anytime I am making it, but I am not a cookie dough nut like some people are. I prefer them baked. The thought of just eating cooking dough is not at all appealing to me personally.

    I love pomegranate juice and have been using it for recipes quite a bit lately (I've even squeezed my own, but boy is it a lot of work for not much juice, guess that's why it's so expensive).

    YES! I Spend too much money on cookie dough. My favorite is my mom's, but Now that I'm on my own, I usually buy Nestle Tollhouse Chocolate Chip.

    k, i'm back. i'd have to say my first choice is chocolate chip, second would be peanut butter and third would be sugar cookie.

    always ate it raw as a kid and still do to this day, 41 years later. love it.

    I used to eat raw cookie dough when I was growing up - chocolate chip or peanut butter were my favorites. I no longer eat it raw because of salmonella and never let my children eat it raw either.

    I grew up in a small town, and in our house, we were strict anti-raw dough-eaters. I think it had to do with the historic familiarity with farm eggs.

    My favorite dough to eat raw is a recipe from my homeland in Australia. It is for a cookie called an Anzac buscuit and it is sweet and oaty and oh so delicous. My son loves Pumpkin Chocolate chip cookie dough. Check out my blog to see his face when he eats it.
