Good Monday! I apologize readers for being such a slacker this past week in my blogging. Preparing for my party and cooking up goodies wasn't possible.
Since I will be leaving again next week (I'm heading to California for a week to attend my good friend's graduation) this week will be filled with lots of posts. I'm going to try to post every day this week, so....it won't all be food though. I have lots and lots of party pictures I must share with you guys. But, it is up to you.
I thought I'd kick my one-a-day post week with a giveaway. Dawn at Ferguson Pottery has a pretty amazing store. I'm not your biggest pottery fan, but her work is beautiful! I am loving her bowls. I'd love to have this bowl too, but she graciously let me have this to give to one of you guys.

I'd love it if you posted everyday - but, seriously - don't do that for very long - we don't want you to burn out!
You do whatever YOU feel 'nonpressured' to do and enjoy your trip!!! We'll be glad for each post, whether one or 100!
Beautiful pottery! I think a week of posts before you leave is a fun idea. Then you can enjoy CA!
Posting daily would be nice, but don't stress yourself out over it!
To be honest, I like it better when bloggers don't force themselves to post everyday (or multiple times a day!). It can be hard to keep up with and the spontaneous posts are always way more fun to read than the forced posts - just me though :)
I think it would be awesome to post everyday, but make sure you still have plenty of time to enjoy your trip!
Go for it. :)
The every other day schedule works just fine for us...at least that's pretty much what we do. It's a good balance! The bowl's pretty awesome too!
Daily posts are great, but I wouldn't force it if you can't.
I think whatever you do just have fun with it. Whatever excites you, if posting daily seems more like a chore then cut back.
I am a new reader; i found your blog off of real mom kitchen. Keep cooking!
I think a post every day would be fun!
That is a beautiful bowl! Sign me up!
Since I just found your blog today I would like to read it everyday!
A post a day is fabulous. I love reading your blog. Thanks for sharing this gorgeous bowl~
A post a day is sure to burn you out - unless they are very short! The pottery bowl is beautiful.
Everyday would be a treat but I think every second day is fine too. That being said if you have more time in the summer then you go girl post every day! That is a gorgeous bowl!
I would love for you to post everyday. I think people who are active in their blogs really make it more interesting and I would keep coming back for more.
saidera1@gmail.com
What a beautiful bowl! Of course we would all love it if you posted every day, but I understand that's not always possible! You just post as often as you have time for. I always enjoy reading all your great posts. You always have great recipes and I enjoy seeing all your photos too :)
This bowl is beautiful. It would be nice to read your blog everyday. But only if you have time . sassymomofgirls@yahoo.com
I love your Posts.. but it is Quality, not quantity!
And hey, you have things to do.. so I think.. it is up to you.. and LIFE happens..
I LOVE THIS BOWL!!!!

I think if you post 3 to 4 times per week, that would be most manageable. sierramuse8 at aol dot com.
I love reading your blog, but don't let yourself get overwhelmed with daily posting!
I think you should post several times a wk at least. Daily would be nice, but you should do what you feel comfortable with. THanks.
P.S. LOVE the bowl!
pamelashockley(AT)netscape(DOT)net
Beautiful bowl! I'm up for reading a new post everyday, but only if you're up for writing one everyday! :)
It's YOUR blog, YOU choose how often to post. I agree that it should be quality over quantity.
I think you should do what you want and not let us dictate to you OUR wants because of course we would want you to post every day, right? Sometimes life just gets in the way and blogging should be fun and not a chore. (I LOVE the bowl -- it would look amazing in my kitchen!!!)
I would like to see more recipes with lots of garlic! lol. I think posting every other day would be good. I know people are busy and I know I wouldn't be able to sit there and post every day. I love this bowl it is gorgeous!
ilovebabynoah707@yahoo.com
While I enjoy your posts, please don't stress yourself. The bowl is beautiful. sharonaquilino(at)hotmail(dot)com
I'll read your posts either way! If you can and have the time it would be awesome but don't stress yourself out!
i certainly wouldn't complain about a daily post, but only if YOU can handle it!
thanks for the giveaway :)
I think expecting a post from you every day is asking too much after all you have a life beyond us What ever and when ever you choose is fine
Here's my theory: post as often as you like as long as you have something to say. Maybe schedule yourself two days off, just as if it were a normal job.
love the pottery
I think you should post when you feel like it and when its fun for you...us followers will be here when you post....have a good trip..
hugs
brenda
post as much as you like too, but most of all just have a good time. if you are like me you don't get to get away very often. have fun!!!
Post when you can.
I would love for you to post once a day, but I could see how you could get burned out! Try it out for a while =)
That bowl is beautiful
nah you don't have to post everyday. stay fresh
pksanddancer@yahoo.com
I think you should post only when you feel inspired to do so.....no fun if you have to force yourself...
I think a week's worth of posts would be an exciting challenge, but really, anything you post will be appreciated :) This pottery is just gorgeous!
Beautiful pottery! Love it.
And I love to read posts by you and it'd be neat to read a new post everyday, but I think that would be pretty challenging. Doesn't hurt giving it a try though!
I think posting every other day is ok! Don't exhaust yourself and thanks for the awesome giveaway!
jennifer causby at hotmail dot com
Yes, definately, post away :)
I think that a posting every other day is just perfect!
I'd love daily postings, but feel free to take breaks when you feel the need to. Too much of something can burn you out.
pleaseundress@yahoo.com
i love daily postings in a short and sweet way. the real world should come first, computers second.
the bowl looks great. count me in.
allegro966@yahoo.com
I say post to your hearts content!
It will be difficult for you to do a post everyday..but if you are up to it...go for it! I'll be here to read them no matter how many there are. :-)
posting every day is too much
Every other day is fine, as life for everyone is super busy. Very prety things-

Beautiful pottery! I think a posting 3 or 4 times a week is good.... I should post more often on facebook still do not have blog BABY STEPS>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
I think posting twice a week would be plenty-we understand how everyone has busy times.
Elaine R
emrosser@shaw.ca
i wouldnt mind a daily post, but its not necessary
Whatever is easiest for you is best; a couple posts a week is nice too. The pottery is beautiful. Thank you!
Bloging everyday can become 'to much" of a good thing. Enjoy each day. By the way the bowl is great and so is her web site
don't stress yourself- seriosuly- its ok to take blog breaks- sometimes its good to have a blog brain break
Daily posts would be great, but if you're like me life would intrude and I'd find myself falling behind.
Thanks for the giveaway.
eswright18 at gmail dot com
Maybe a couple times a week?
post when you feel inspired & have time, when you feel engaged with an idea or have something to report. At the same time, giving yourself a (realistic/reasonable) deadline can sometimes spur on some great writing also.
I love this pottery, it's so different than most others with the floral designs- very energetic & pretty.
I think you should do what comes naturally to you. If you overextend yourself you might start to resent having to post daily.
dawns_horizen(at)yahoo(dot)com
While I love reading daily blogs, I know how hard it is to keep up with as a blogger. When I tried it I just kept hitting a wall. Whatever works for you is best!
I'd love for you to post everyday, but it has to be fun for you, not an obligation.
I would love that bowl, it's beautiful!
The bowl is so beautiful!!! Would love to win.. Matches my name lol..
Sure, post once a day
pkbailey@charter.net
I would love a post everyday! Your blog rocks.
I think it would be great if you posted daily. If you cant than you cant but if your up for it... why not?
Posting everyday would be a treat for all of us, but enjoying your trip is most important.
Go for quality over quantity of posts; that way it stays fun, fresh, and relevant for you and your readers.
I collect hand made pottery.
What a BEAUTIFUL bowl!
I think you should post when you have time. However, it's always nice to have something to distract me while I'm at work.
I wouldn't ask you to do a post everyday! Even though I do pop in here every other day and check. LOL
The bowl is AMAZING! BEAUTIFUL! Thank you!
I hope you have a great trip to CA!
That would be great but it might be a little hard. Maybe twice a week? I love the bowl.
Sure, but only for this week! Then when you leave your will feel like you have accomplished a lot this week and you will be able to relax and enjoy your vacation more!
lisalmg25 at gmail dot com
I love reading your blogs, but only do what you can!
Post every day only if you feel like it - don't wear yourself out!
Every other day is fine...you need to pack at some point!
Mary
zenrei57 (at) hotmail (dot) com
While I enjoy reading your osts and checking out your very nice site, I have to agree with most everyone else and say that you are going to drive yourself nuts trying to do it every day! I'd shoot for every other day or every 3rd day because life has a bad tendency to get in the way of our plans lol. I'm trying to start up 2 new sites of my own and maintain one that I started a couple of months ago - I'm really overwhelmed and haven't even got my artwork and pictures up yet! SHOOT ME! So make sure your blogs are a joy and pleasure for you or else what's the point :)
Hugs - Mary
Terrific bowl, make me a winner!
Every other day is more than enough. We all know about planning, packing atc...
whammyammyATyahooDOTcom
If you WANT to do daily posts that's great. But every other day is fine too with most of us :)
strycker@slu.edu
I want you to post everyday, in fact I want you to post 3 or 4 times a day. I'm needy though
Everyday would be a lot for you to do, but I'd love to see more!
meredycat*lycos*com
Beautiful pottery! I think a week of posts before you leave is a fine idea but don't stress yourself out
Posting every day might be hard, but I think you can do it! I know everyone would enjoy it, but like others have mentioned, don't wear yourself out!
There are some types of blogs that just need daily entries to be interesting.
Yours is just fine with sporadic entries. It keeps it interesting and doesn't get boring or overdone.
Keep up what you are doing and I am sure we will keep reading!!!
I want you to post every day only if you have time, are up for it, and are inspired to post.
Have a safe trip, and thanks for the great giveaway!
hey. why put that kind of pressure on yourself. three or four times per week is cool.
patricjames@hotmail.com
post thje thnigs that are most fun for you
My opinion is for you to post when you feel you have something to say. Thanks for the giveaway.
Post once a day if you want too...besides a post is still a post even if it is only one word, like Hello! :)
Post as often as you like and only if you want to. It's your life, don't let a blog dictate how you live it.
traymona[at]aol.com
A week of posts seems like a lot of work to me, especially when you've got so much going on. I think you should see what each day brings and post if you feel like you can.
It's up to you, please don't feel pressured.
POSTING ONCE A WEEK IS GREAT I THINK
This is YOUR blog, structure it the way it fits in best in your life. To be honest, as a reader, I cannot keep up with all of the info that is of interest to me, so I would rather see something of some import (either to the reader or the writer)than just something written to be writing a note.
clynsg at yahoo.com
It is not worth posting every day unless you have something worthwhile to say.
A daily post would be nice, but you are not a slacker if you don't. I love the pottery.
I don't have time to read a daily post! If you have time though, I would be happy to catch up on a week's worth at a time.
If you have a lot to say and have enough time...sure!...post every day if you want to. :)
Pretty much what everybody else has said. You have to LIVE your life before you need to worry about DOCUMENTING it ;-)
Every day sounds like a lot of work to keep up. I would think that every other day would be easier to maintain.
Blogging should be fun. If you force yourself to come up with ideas each and every day, It's not going to be fun.
I also don't have the time to rea them everyday.
Thanks for the giveaway!
email in blogger profile.
I think you need to post as much or as little as you want. Don't feel pressured to post more, or less. I as a reader usually catch up when I can and can't read it daily, rather I read several posts at once.
yes. post every day. 24/7 I want to hear all you have to say.
lol just kidding.
mjgroesbeck@yahoo.com
I think people tend to get burned out when they try to post every day, but more power to you if you can! Have a blast in California!
I would love to see you do a post every day but I don't want you to feel obligated to contribute new content on a daily basis.
Goodness make it easy on yourself. Summer is here. Love the contests!
joni514@roadrunner.com
Unless you are trying to reach a goal and blogging about it daily helps you achieve it...nah. Relax a little. :-)
If I were you I don't know if I'd like to be under the pressure to have to post every day--I'd say it the mood strikes you do it, otherwise don't.
farrell@crosslake.net
Thats very pretty
you dont have to post everyday..only when you have something interesting to say.
madamerkf at aol dot com
A post everyday would be great!!
Beautiful product. Enjoy it out here,
Only post when you have something important
Would love to win. Posting once a week is plenty
gjsrjs@sbcglobal.net
Whatever you have time for is just fine :)
sure everyday would be great i love going to peoples blogs its so fun :)
I don't like the pressure of knowing I have to do a task every single day, so don't put that stress on yourself. Enjoy everyday to the fullest doing what you love to do!
Thanks for the pottery giveaway - I've always love handmade work by potters.
hi_joan_elliott@hotmail.com
Every other day is perfect!!
Don't feeel pressure to post each day - it is about quality, not quantity!
post however much you want to!! :) and that bowl really is way cool.
I think it would be fun to start off posting perhaps 3 days a week and call the days you post something catchy so people remember .....aaaa, haa, today is Monday and Priscilla's going to be posting her Monday Who Wants Cookies Recipes, or they will remember on Wednesday they can look forward to Priscilla's Chinese Anyone recipes, and so on. If you pick let's say the same 3 days each week, people will come to look forward to them and remember those days by your "catchy" names. BTW - I apologize for my lame examples, LOL! But, hopefully you get the idea! I love, love the gorgeous Handmade pottery bowl from Ferguson Pottery, it is spectacular! Thanks so much for the chance to enter.

POSTING ONCE A WEEK IS FINE WITH ME
Personally, I think you should post whenever you feel inspired to do so. It shouldn't be scheduled; I find that anything I "schedule" becomes a chore and an obligation rather than a pleasurable activity. I blog whenever I feel like it (usually once or twice a week) and that reduces the pressure on me, plus it makes blogging an escape :)
I think if you have something to say or a handy tip you should post. To post just to post should be avoided.
I would not have time to post but I enjoy reading what other people have to say.
Thank you for the great giveaway.
A post a day would be terrific for your readers, but I'm sure we'd be just as appreciative for less frequent but more in-depth posts if you have a busy or eventful week, an extended photography or music project, a vacation, etc., which would give you more time to reflect and share your insights and experiences. Thanks!
gkaufmanss@yahoo.com
Pretty bowl, and as for daily posts, whatever you're comfortable with doing.
Daily posts are great, but it should be about quality posts, not the quantity! Blogging should be fun. post when you have something fun, fresh, and relevant for you and your readers. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in this giveaway!
The pottery is just beautiful! As far as your post.. whenever you have the time. Thanks for a chance to win!
I say post when the mood hits. The last thing you want blogging to feel like is work. Don't put yourself into a schedule that ends up being a big pain in the butt.
Wonderful giveaway, by the way!
quelleheure4[at]gmail{dot}com
Better to post on a whim when you feel like sharing
tvollowitz at aol dot com
Really lovely bow, shows real talent and thought went into this. Trying to meet deadlines and think of something every day can put stress on you. Three times a week would be alright for me.
Great giveaway! A post everyday is a lot of work....I don't think I'd be able to, but if you can, more power to you!
Beautiful bowl! Great giveaway! You always have an interesting site! Thanks! senekers@comcast.net
I would post as long as you can think of something to write.
samsakara@twcny.rr.com
Fabulous bowl indeed and I dont think you should post everyday, its so much work and you need your free time also.
electricisland(at)gmail.com
Quality not quantity!
Believe me, it is fun at first. Then, it starts feeling like a job. Maybe weekly...every 2 weeks?
lilacbutterfly [at] earthlink.net
I wouldn't post everyday. It can become an obsession and take over your life. I know some bloggers who are consumed by their blogs.
