He knows how to melt your heart!
Okay, back to baking...I'm sure you didn't mind the brief interruption while I spotlight Mr. Lew!
These Cinnamon Rolls were different in the making, the fact that you make the dough in the bread machine. But other than that, they were very tasty!
Here they are all frosted...
I've never made a Chiffon Cake before, so this was my first.
"Lemon Chiffon Cake"
Texture of the bread was deelicious plus the Lemon frosting makes this recipe a winner! My Dad thought the frosting by itself was yummy!
Slice anyone??

Oh, Lewis a cutie pie! The cinnamon rolls look devine!
I have heard about Chiffon Cake before but can't recall much about it. Is it made with mainly egg whites? It looks really light in texture.

Barbara - thanks! I used a recipe from Taste Of Home, if you'd like it let me know.
Maria - we are all still in awe of how 'cute' Lewis's face is! The desserts were as good as they look!
Oiyi - what really caught my attention about this cinnamon roll recipe was that they had a vanilla pudding mix in them and that they were supposed to taste like the ones from the mall. They were gone that afternoon. I don't want Lewis to ever lose his cute face!
Margaret - yes, egg whites are some of the main ingredients. There are seven egg whites in the cake to be exact!
I'd love the recipe. Lemon cake is my mom's favorite too.
Lemon cake ... yummy !
The puppy is cute too :)
It's an honor, thank you!
1. That is the cutest puppy EVER!! you should submit his picture to cuteoverload.com. Oh my goodness, I'm in love...*swoon!*
2. Wow.. a puppy, a lemon cake and cinnamon buns all in one post? I'm in heaven. Your family must adore you! I made cinnamon buns this Christmas for everyone I know (well, almost). I think I made 40 trays and each one had 8 buns in them. Yours look really yummy and I know they must have been a lot of work! Nice job!
3. The lemon cake looks super yummy. I can see the little flecks of lemon zest in the frosting, which I LOVE. It's just a perfect springtime cake. Lovely! (And please send me the recipe too)
4. *THANK YOU!* for my You make my day Award. I've never received a reward before! That's so awesome!
