17.

I am 17 today. Such an odd number for me. I feel like I am getting old....most of you guys probably think I am crazy. But, I still think it.

I am grateful for 17 years of a healthy life. I am grateful for parents who love me, 3 brothers & 2 sisters, my friends, music, my dogs Lewis & Clark, laughter, smiles, sunshine, snow, that I can bake, blogging, my blog readers, a roof to live under, clothes, & most important - that Jesus is my Lord & Savior.

Come with me down memory lane.....

I was born in Whittier, CA on December 2, 1991. I think my older sister Lisa and older brother Andrew were pretty excited about getting a baby sister. =)

A couple days after I was born with my sister Lisa. The not long lived family of three, soon three more would come. And yes, I was a very chubby baby, all around. In 1992, now I've got a baby brother. And there are now "4" of us. Joe & I with our baby goat kids we used to raise in 2001. Man, how I loved those baby goats. With my friend, Jocelyn in 2008. We've been friends for 17 years.
With my bunch in 2008, anniversary pictures for our parents.

Hope you've enjoyed this and be back soon with my Top Ten Appetizers!!

Happy Birthday girl!! I know you feel old, but I remember 1991 and that makes me feel old and I am only 30...so really neither one of us are anywhere near old despite what we think! :)

My birthday advice for you enjoy every day because time seems to speed up the *older* you get! I was just 17 yesterday!

Happy 17th Birthday!!

I know exactly what you mean. I felt that way at 17 too. I feel like I blinked and suddenly I'm 25 now. Dewd!

The older you get, the faster the years go by. Embrace every day -- even the bad ones, because out of the bad times comes growth.

And don't forget to act like a kid (with innocence, wonder, and enthusiasm). Just cause you feel old -- doesn't mean you have to act old. :o)

Have a great birthday!!

Happy birthday! You were such a cute little baby! I just turned 25 and I feel really old too, but I got comments on my blog saying it's really young, lol. I guess no matter what your age, there's always someone a little older... :-)

Happy Birthday! So what kind of treat are you having? Your baby picture looks exactly like my daughter when she was a baby. It is so funny because I did a doubletake when I saw it. Enjoy your day! Nice family pictures you have.

Hope you've had a GREAT birthday! I must say, you're one in a few, or at least from the looks of things there's six of you, but what a wonderful group of teens! Sometimes it seems like great "kids" are hard to come by!
You rock!
Happy Birthday! I look forward to seeing what else you've got for us!
