Good Thursday everyone! Hope you are having a wonderful week with sunny weather. I cannot wait to see Hannah Montana this weekend, I wasn't able to make it last week with my friend for opening week to see it. We can't wait to see it Saturday. My favorite characters would have to be Lilly, Ricco, Jackson, and Hannah. Ricco is so amusing.

I needed to use some bananas up we had and came up with this recipe. I love the addition of a chocolate cake mix. The sour cream and bananas add much moisture to this cake and the chocolate chunks or chips knock this cake up a notch. This was devoured instantly but with 3 man eating brothers I honestly think devouring anything isn't hard.

Chocolate Cake Mix Banana Bread
Ingredients:
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
3/4 tsp. vanilla
3 medium bananas, ripe and smashed
5 tbsp. sour cream
2 cups of a chocolate cake mix, straight out of the box
1 1/2 cups chocolate chunks or chips
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 in pan. Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs and mix well. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt together and add to creamed mixture. Add vanilla, bananas, sour cream, cake mix, and chunks/chips. Mix very well. Pour into greased baking pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until ready.

I love my friends. But you all know that.

Katie and I are the last two to graduate from high school out of our friend's group. We both leave 12th grade next month. While it sounds exciting to no longer be in high school, it is also scary for me. I am stepping into a place I have never been before. My whole life I have always been in either elementary, junior high, or high school. But I know I have a great big God who will walk with me as I tread these new days. And I have to graduate sometime, I wouldn't want to be 40 and still in 12th grade.

(Easter 2009)

One of my favorite songs by Third Day. I find it simply amazing that the God who holds this world in the palm of His Hands and created this universe, loves me. And died that I might live.

Does it get any better than chocolate and bananas? Fantastic looking bread.

My daughter saw Hannah Montana last Friday. She loved it. She told me she was starting to get aggravated with Miley Cyrus, now she loves her again...go figure.

Great picture of you and your friends.

This is such an exciting time for you. Try not to be scared of it but rather have fun with all that you have ahead of you. What are your after high school plans? Culinary school perhaps? =) One word of avice. Time will FLY by so fast after you graduate- soak up every moment and every experience you can!

Hi Priscilla! Congratulations! I have graduated and I will be praying for you! =:) It can be scary when you think of all that is out there to take in and all the pressures. I am glad that you know God as your personal Saviour! It makes it so much less scary when you can turn to Him for guidance! =:D I am sure you will be fine. Enjoy this time in your life that God is taking you through! =:)

Blessings!

p.s. - Thanks for the recipe! Another one going on my list of recipes to try! =;)

Third Day is awesome! I have a friend in DM area that just saw them in concert. Lucky girl, huh?!

I understand what you're feeling about post-graduation. I felt the same way, but it's also a very exciting time with new opportunities and adventures ahead! Just remember that there is an entire class of Freshman that will be in the same situation as you! You'll do fine! :)

The banana have many properties like the potassium and some vitamin too. that is why i prefer to use the bananas frequently in my recipe. and i love the flavour too. Even power the tissues, muscles and bones that can help with the sexual performance too.
