8 ounces (two sticks) unsalted butter, room temp
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
3 cups BREAD flour (13 1/2 oz)
3/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 1/3 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 to 1 1/3 cups coarsely chopped, untoasted walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Beat butter and both sugars just until they come together. Don’t overbeat. Add the egg and beat just until incorporated. Mix together the flour, salt and baking soda. When thoroughly mixed, add to batter and stir just until blended. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. The dough should be neither sticky nor dry.
Divide dough into about 12 mounds, but keep the mounds kind of raggedy. That is, don’t smash them into compact balls. Bake on ungreased insulated cookie sheet or an upside down rimmed cookie sheet for 20 minutes at 350. Cool on sheet for about 10 minutes then transfer to a wire rack to cool.

Everything looks delicious! The cupcakes seem very well-decorated to me. And yes, could I have a bite of cookie? :)
I want a bite of that cookie!!!!!!
Great work on those tiered cakes! What types of cakes were they inside?
All the best for the guitar recital... I never get to practice myself anymore... Stewie is terrified of my guitar lol

You did a great job on everything - my goodness you've been a busy beaver. I'm in the lineup for a bite of that cookie - actually, never mind a bite - I'll take 2 whole cookies.
everything looks so delicious! Especially those cupcakes with kisses. Good luck with your guitar recital! Practice hard : )
This is stunning Priscilla, everything looks SO good!!
Just adorable doggie pics too - wishing you good luck with your guitar recital!

Caitlyn - sure, a bite is on it's way!! I'm glad you like the cupcakes!
Ruth - I liked the cakes too. The flag cake was a white cake with a coconut filling and the top cake was chocolate. The cake for my Mom was a white cake. My dog isn't too scared of my guitar!
Jessy - thanks so much! I am still in the learning process of frosting cakes!
Maria - thank you! Everyone loved "everything"!
Cooking & the city - thank you! I am so glad I can to tiered cakes now!

All of the baking looks wonderful!
Ok, I'll take a serving of each..... Fedex please ;-)
OhioMom - I don't think they would be all in one piece when they arrived. :) I didn't even think of using my camera for an audio...but I was so nervous while playing it didn't sound very good!
Katie - thank you...I'd like a bite too now.:)
Margaret - thank you!
Lucy - thanks! FedEx is FAST in delivery time!
Wow, not only do you have a bright future as a pastry chef, but one as a photographer too! You're one talented gal!
Okay, so I do have one brownie recipe that is my stand-by and I think they are pretty fudgey. They are called Heaven and Hell Brownies . They have 2 lbs of various different types of chocolate and only a cup of flour. They can be made with or without nuts too.
As for the Tiramisu, I have made this Tiramisu Layer Cake recipe twice (but never posted it) and it is always a hit. I liked this recipe because it uses a box mix (lady fingers get expensive!) and the alcohol is kept to a minimum. When I made it though, I made the cakes in a 13x9 pan, instead of a round one, so that I could feed more people. It still came out really good.
Hope that helps!
I SO want a bite of that cookie!
wow! i'm so impressed by everything you have made. those cookies look great and the cupcake icing is pretty too! your puppies are adorable!
Priscilla- Thanks for stopping by my blog and *yes* I'd love it if you added me to your blogroll. In fact, I'd be honored. I am glad you stopped by my blog sot that I could find yours! Those chocolate chip cookies you've made are quite yummy looking and the cakes are fantastic. One of my goals for this summer is to learn how to decorate cakes...we'll see how that goes...I think I will be making lots of practice butter-creame flowers all summer long. I'm also glad you like the shirt I made...you should make some-the pattern is quite easy and the shirt is cute (now I keep buying fabric to make more!!!!). I'll be stopping back soon! Jessica
Will you share the recipe for those amazing looking cookies?
Priscilla - where did you get the recipe for the levain cc cookies? I've never seen one with all bread flour. the clone I made on my blog uses all purpose. I've made Jacques Torres cc cookies with part bread flour, part pastry flour.
hi judy - i got the recipe from another ladies' blog, i couldn't reach your blog, can i have the web address please? thanks so much for visiting mine and i will be putting the cake recipe up under the cake post!~
Priscilla - Sorry my reply is late. I thought you weren't coming back till mid-August and I didn't come back and check till now. My blog address is http://judyskitchen.blogspot.com. I've made Levain a few times and will probably make them again. Your photos look so good, and I think I will try them with the bread flour. I'm also going to try your chocolate chip dough brownies.
