LOVE those mugs!!! (I'm a mug person!! ; )

This weekend my husband and I are going to Kansas City (we live about an hour from there) to celebrate my birthday and I'm very excited!! (It's supposed to rain :(, but I'm hoping the weather man is wrong!)

Also, I'm a subscriber via Google Reader ; )

It'll probably still be cold here in Michigan. I'd love to spend the weekend breaking in my new walking shoes if the sun is out!

I am going to enjoy the Texas Springtime! We're taking our new dog and our daughter to the park by the river for a picnic, and to the bluebonnet fields to take pictures...as well as hitting up the Bluebell Cremery. Icecream and sunshine I can't get any better than that! Happy Spring!

I have the best weekend ever planned. My new sofa should arrive on Saturday, so I'll be renting a truck and taking the old one to Goodwill. Then I'm going to make a dump run to drop off some garden waste - it's amazing how those weeds take over, and grab some mulch. Then I'll be picking up some giant plants that a friend is giving me. When I get home I'll spread the mulch and place the plants. That should do it for Saturday.
On Sunday, I plan to tidy the house to a fare-thee-well. I have 5 houseguests coming this next week so the house must be spic and span. With any luck, I'll also have some time to bake for a buddy of mine in the Marines.
Let me know if you want to come help. I'll make a pot of coffee we can drink out of your super-cute mugs! Can you tell I like caffeine?!?

Also, even though we'll be in Chicago, if I am so privileged as to win, I should have internet access.

Hey Priscilla,
My hubby works away from home during the week so the weekends have become a special time for us and because it's forecast to be a sunny weekend I think we'll head to the seaside with the dog for a walk in the sun!

Hope your cleaning goes well!

Rachelle S said...

We'll be busy with friends at parties/get togethers. Most likely we'll be outside too. :)

I will be packing for a trip to Disney and then to my daughter's house in FL. But, I will try to spend some time outside in the beautiful weather to check out any new sprouts coming up.

I'm going to bask in the sunshine knowing we still have more cold and rain to come (warm now).

I think the seed packets say it all - "March 20th or later". It rained all night, so everything is too wet to do any planting today, but I'll definitely be doing it tomorrow!

I will be spring cleaning. I've gotten quite a bit done this week, now I just have to dust and organize. YUCK!

Have a happy Spring!!!!!
